Me.Re.pair Morning – Oct. 26

Bring us your wounded, your broken or torn, Saturday October 26: 10:00 – noon, and a volunteer will teach you how to repair the damage.

We have three volunteers signed up to help you mend, hem, patch, or reattach severed teddy bear limbs, cracked teapots and treasures of all kinds in fabric, ceramic, wood or glass. If you have a mug handle on your kitchen window sill waiting for crazy glue, this is your “get-around-to-it” invitation. Your torn teddy or chipped teapot will be welcomed at a triage table (just inside Dean Hall) where you’ll be asked if you want help to fix it, or you just want it fixed!. The triage team (Jan Griffiths, Meredith Toivanen & Lyndal Neelin) will send the item for repair to the appropriate repairer and invite you to grab a cuppa while you wait to be called. The Saturday Cafe will provide the tea, coffee, and snacks.
